i'm so glad that comes across! mad scientist wizard is "um actually"ing the main character in this song. the sweeter melody (which the cello has) and more cohesive accompaniment towards the end is the main character sticking by his ideals.

back to posting music snippets! today we have 小さなピース (little pieces) from the mahoyaku musicals. a funky tune that jumps between 5/4 and 3/4 with disjointed oompahs in the accompaniment lines means it is pretty difficult to plaまほステy, but really cool when it comes together 🧙 #まほやく #まほステ

It's funny because a light novel takes at least 2 months to translate, so they've probably eyeballed the amount of text correctly. but literally zero light novel translators I know can do a whole novel in a week. That's absurd
