... wow. I mean, I grew up in Texas (one of those "crazy people from Houston") and I know how fucked up the politics are, but this -- especially the transcript in 2021 -- is another level. Really damning stuff. People who don't care about other people don't belong in politics. Anywhere.
In areas hit by Texas floods, officials were sent over $5 million in federal ARPA funds in 2021.

They didn't want to spend it on flood warning systems due to their disdain for Biden - and didn't send it BACK because it might go to a blue state, and "values that we in Kerr county don't agree with."

The facts are, the ACA saved millions with pre-existing conditions and set standards for care.

But now, more than a decade later, with what we now know, it’s time to take the insurance companies out of the mix.
The subsidies they get are enormous. We don’t need them as middlemen.
