46 years ago today…the Who at the Richfield Coliseum, just three days after the tragedy in Cincinnati. It’s the first tour since the death of original drummer Keith Moon. It’s also the group’s first area appearance since December 1975.

50 years ago today…the Beach Boys with Dave Mason, and the Eric Carmen Band. The highlight of the evening was the opening act, the Eric Carmen Band. Carmen, in his first post-Raspberries performance in the area, showcased his band and the material from his first solo album.
