Our paper on mapping the canopy traits and functions of global tropical forests was published online in Nature last month but is out in print today, and it made the cover 😊

Tropical forests are not changing fast enough to keep pace with climate change. New paper in Science today by @jeaggu.bsky.social shows that <22% of new trees recruiting into forests have traits better adapted to the new climate.
