So I broke my jaw in 4 places 3 weeks ago, and these are some of the things I’ve learned:
1. Brushing your teeth is hard
2. Puréed foods taste different
3. Yawning is just weird when you can’t open your mouth
4. You get tired of soup really quickly
5. My wife is a rock star!

My son got 6th place in diving among all the divers; JV and varsity and 1st among JV AND he got 1st on the 50m freestyle! My kid is wicked fast!

On Tuesday, Aug. 22, all Corpus Christi ISD schools will have a two-hour delay.
Elementary schools will begin at 9:50 a.m.
Middle and high schools will begin at 10:50 a.m.
Bus schedules will also run on a two-hour delay.
