The Minnesota shooting case is now metastasizing unlike any i've ever seen. The successive resignations of heads of the crim section at CRD and 3 top career prosecutors in Minn -- who had hung in all this year n/w/stg multiple outrages-- means the Department is in open revolt in DC and the field.

“Donald Trump is a man who represents all the things we teach our children not to be. He’s a liar. He’s a thief. He’s a molester. He has no remorse, no shame, no empathy. He has no loyalty to the law, to the Constitution. This man is the lowest character of all.”

The irony in watching Trump in the White House babble at the CEOs of some the world’s largest multinationals is that not one of them would ever hire him for anything. His stupidity and ineptitude comes through inside of five minutes. He’s also obnoxious and just weird as shit.

Attempting to criminalize the actions of an independent public servant, Fed Chair Jay Powell, for the sin of acting independently is an outrage. It's bad economics, bad politics, bad for the rule of law, bad for the public sector, bad for American credibility and bad for Americans.

The American people electing Trump after he staged a coup attempt 5 years ago was a nail in the coffin of our democracy. You can rationalize it all you want - But inflation! But wokeness! - but ultimately it was a societal suicide attempt and probably the dumbest collective voting decision ever made
