Lex Luthor (in the visual likeness of classic actor Yul Brynner) glares out of his penthouse window in reflection up at Superman (in the visual likeness of classic actor Cary Grant) who looks down upon him with his arms crossed and a judgemental look on his face. Superman’s cape flows in the wind around him as he floats and Luthor wears a brown business suit with a gold tie. The city of Metropolis looks behind Superman with the Daily Planet building being particularly of note, with a blue sky filled with fluffy clouds beyond. Gum, a character from the video game Jet Set Radio Future, poses with one foot propped up on the screen, her elbow draped over her knee, and her other hand shielding her eyes from the sun. She wears a pair of futuristic inline roller skates, a sun dress adorned with her name in katakana, wrist bands, a choker, and an old-timey crash helmet. She is blonde with dark eyes and is framed all around by fluffy white clouds in the blue sky stretching as far as the eye can see. A test comic page for a short comic titled “Space Ghost: Host No More.” Digital illustration in the style of the classic 60’s Space Ghost cartoon mixed with the psychadelic additions circa Space Ghost: Coast to Coast and Cartoon Planet. Space Ghost breaks through a wall to find Brak left behind by the other villains for not being evil enough anymore. Brak accuses him of coming to ruin his fun and throws a vial of a suspicious liquid into his chest, to no avail. A black and white digital painting of Captain Jean Luc Picard from Star Trek: The Next Generation dressed as his Holodeck counterpart, hard boiled 1940’s detective Dixon Hill. He wears a classic detective’s outfit of fedora, overcoat, suit and tie. He’s illuminated by a light source coming through Venetian blinds off screen in a mostly black dark room otherwise. “The Big Goodbye by Tracy Torme”, the title of both the episode this is homaging and the fictional book the episode is based on, resides to the right of Picard in stylized lettering.

ITS THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN!

Happy Halloween from me and the General Mills cereal monsters! I painted these portraits two years ago now I think but I still love ‘em
Digital portrait painting of cereal mascot Boo Berry from the famous Halloween-themed cereal Boo Berry. He’s a cartoon ghost with a half-lidded gaze adjusting a red bow tie on his non-existent spectral neck while wearing a straw boater hat. Digital portrait of famous cereal mascot Count Chocula from the Halloween themed cereal of the same name. He’s a vampire with a long face and a long crooked nose wearing a high collared cape and raising a single finger in exclamation. He also has two buck teeth and two high points in his quaffed hair. Digital portrait of famous cereal mascot Franken Berry from the Halloween themed cereal of the same name. He is a big pink oafish looking monster wearing heavy studded metal goggles with various steam engine parts sticking out of his head. He’s pointing to himself with his index finger which happens to include a strawberry shaped fingernail.

I think it's noteworthy that the people who say things like "we have to sacrifice some groups to save others" or whatever are never talking about themselves. They never suggest that they should take the bullet for others.

If you are willing to throw away entire groups of people to protect your insular strategy that will only protect you instead of protecting everyone then I don’t want your leaders and I sure as hell don’t want to be associated with you.
talleststone.bsky.social
I hate to say it but the majority of the country is not going to die on the hill of trans rights. We can’t protect ANY groups if we can’t win a national election, so purity tests only serve to make specific groups feel triumphant. That’s not “erasing” them; it’s long-horizon strategy.

I’ve been able to work as a freelance artist (a job which regularly gets snickers at doctor’s offices when asked what I do) for years, meet the best friends of my life, gain an audience who genuinely cares about the dumb art I make that’s made up of some of the best people ever. It’s WILD, tbh!

I’ve spent my entire life suffering from
Pac-Man Fever. It’s terminal.
Little pencil doodle of Pac-Man thrusting his orb forward to snack on some pac-pellets with a big word bubble over his head reading “NOM” in block letters.

I actually really love Top Cat. A lot of that era of Hanna-Barbera cartoons do nothing for me but for some reason I love this guy to pieces

Maybe the best theme song of the whole HB catalog too, tbh. Doodle by me.
A digital sketch of Hanna-Barbera cartoon character Top Cat (close friends get to call him TC) reclining across two trash cans, his legs crossed and his hands behind his head. He’s an anthropomorphic street car wearing a straw boater hat and a vest with a relaxed look on his face.

Beloved amazing video game IPs are languishing in hell without new games for decades at this point.

Anyway congratulations to Bubsy for getting a new game again! Here’s a Lucky Cat Bubsy for Bubsy 4D
Bubsy Bobcat, beloved video game platformer star of major hits like “Bubsy: Claws Encounters of the Furred Kind”, and “Bubsy in Fractured Furry Tales” and winner of the prestigious Golden X Award for immaculate games “Bubsy 3D” but drawn as one of those lucky cat statues made of ceramic that wave a paw at you.

Show me how you draw armor! 🛡️
A digital comic book panel combining Super Mario with the aesthetics and gritty gameplay of the Dark Souls series, specifically the first game. Mario is dressed in the Elite Knight set of armor with the starting helmet of the Knight Class, carrying a torch which reflects off of his dull old armor, down a cramped water-logged hallway in The Depths.
