Burnham is scarcely better and Starmer and I can't see him reversing course on any of Labour's crimes.

Even if he did, the whole party is complicit in every monstrous thing Starmer has done.

The party needs to die, as soon as possible. I'll certainly never vote Labour as long as I live.

Wankers marking their own homework.

Apparently fines take money out of the company and stop it investing in improvements, but dividends and bonuses don't? Okay, sure.

Also this signoff is very funny. A dead water company can be freely nationalised! It's the perfect outcome for everyone.

We love a holy well or spring! Something about them feels sort of primordial. I can see why people used to revere them beyond the practical uses.

I think it's also why the Streetings of the world are so willing to believe the privatisation myth.

They're not smart enough to come up with solutions to problems on their own and they're too arrogant to consult experts, so they're like kids with a massive piggy bank buying job lots of magic beans.

Private healthcare is a parasitic stain on society and should be banned.

Having a huge lump of debt to pay back is very different to an incremental tax, especially when the former is constantly accumulating interest.

There's also the fact that graduate jobs are increasingly hard to get and pay worse than ever.

There are some things that it isn't okay to debate, Stella.

If someone is spouting hate but doing it politely, using language that appears reasonable but is based in bigotry, then they should not be granted the privilege of debate. They need to be deradicalised.

Labour refuses to understand this.

Are wages keeping up with essentials?

Is outside investment in things we want, or shite like PFI, Sizewell C, and AI data centres?

Who can afford these mortgages? Who is raking in the profits?

What about all the minorities you've made less safe and the genocide you're participating in?
January 23, 2026 at 10:24 AM
Ah, understood. I'm not sure I'd agree with 'irritating', but I can appreciate the point you're making.

The fur, the tats, the chains. I can't 😳

I love how Milliband straight up says Labour will be subsidising landlords even more and pretending that'll dissuade them from raising rents.

Landlords: people famously satisfied with a static amount of free money that they never seek to increase by unscrupulous means.

"I think it'll be fine. Source? Vibes I guess."

Embarrassing really. Thanks for forcing him to try to explain the inexplicable.

Constantly changing slogans are for politicians without policies. They have to keep shifting focus to obscure the fact that nothing is improving.

Zack is doing the opposite. He's taking shifting questions and saying, yes, that's also a problem, and the root causes are the same. Because it's true!

There is something deeply, deeply broken in these people. It scares me.

there are very, very few things that could make me voluntarily watch trump do anything. but this is absolutely one of them

This is phase 2 of the genocide. A corporatised colonialist occupation. An apartheid state where Gazans will be forced to accept indentured servitude or will be 'relocated' out of the region.

A new playground for the rich and wealthy. A kinder, more orderly genocide, and very profitable.

I'm so sick of the endless moral panic about phones or the internet or social media.

It's no different to the Victorians freaking out about young women reading books.
January 22, 2026 at 1:35 PM
God he's such a wanker.
January 22, 2026 at 1:32 PM
So we're concentrating vulnerable people into camps without their consent. Cool and normal behaviour.

Let them work. Fix the housing system for everyone and give them homes. Let us welcome them into our communities.

Also those protesters are just racists. Stop pretending they're anything else.

Fines are just a cost of doing business to corporations. If non-compliance is cheaper than compliance they'll just not comply.
January 22, 2026 at 1:19 PM
The real failure of democracy: not voting for people who will actively make your life worse. 💀
January 22, 2026 at 11:45 AM
So yeah. I'm sorry that folks outside the US just want to blame a new Other for all of this wankery. It's time we all got our shit together and [redacted]
January 22, 2026 at 11:19 AM
And yeah, it's all capitalism run riot. Decades of centrists and the centre right blaming The Other for austerity mandated by the owning class, amplified by corpo media. Now it's totally out of their control. Our ""Moderate"" politicians are frantically chasing the narrative rather than pushing it.
January 22, 2026 at 11:19 AM
I think it's a deeply ignorant and harmful position. The US has it particularly bad right now but Europe is doing the exact same thing.

There are strengthening fascist movements in all European countries, some of which are literally in power (Italy, the UK, Hungary, arguably France, Belarus etc)
