A cluster of white dome-capped mushrooms in lush green grass. They are low to the ground so the stem isn't visible. A beautiful beige mushroom with a hefty convex cap. The stem is which and conical and the cap is spotted with small brown blotches. A spread of toadstools with twisted flat caps. The largest are a deep tan colour with a central dark patch and a wonky rim, while the small ones are paler and more intact. A spread of pale, flat capped toadstools nestled under a patch of nettles. They are close enough together that the caps are overlapping. The nettles are lush and healthy looking.

There's so many toadstools out at the moment! Spoiled for choice.
A white capped toadstool with a frilly skirt. The cap is slightly convex and has rills from the centre to the circumference A cluster of extremely close growing cream toadstools that have formed a clumpy mound. A fully opened fly agaric with an orange-tan cap, spotted with cream patches. The cap is split in several places and the stalk has a flaky appearance. A very weird ruddy brown toadstool that looks a lot like a small rotten pumpkin.

The Independent Alliance is literally populated with landlords and social conservatives.

I had a lot of respect for Corbyn, but this YP fiasco is just baffling from start to finish.

If you can excise the transphobes and landlords from YP leadership then you can open a dialogue with the Greens. We could have two socialist parties working towards a common goal, sharing expertise and strategies.

I reckon that'd be pretty neat.

Labour is not currently a leftist party. Aligning ourselves with them wouldn't stop Reform, but it would compromise pretty much every single one of our principles and subsequently tank our support.

I think we need to start brainstorming how to counter Blair and Trump's neocolonialist occupation project. It'll be well ordered, polite, and they'll have a PR strategy to go.

Genocide without all those pesky images of exploding kids, and very profitable.

Even if it 'comes to an end' it won't be reversed. All the fascist policies will remain in effect and become the new normal.

Republicans will keep pushing right until the christofascist apocalypse arrives. And if democrats are ever in power again they'll do their usual 'gradual decline' trick.

trans ppl in scotland spent 10 years arguing for self id? they did everything right. went to every meeting, every debate, lobbied politicians – everything. then they won with a 2 thirds cross-party super majority. sunak & starmer snapped their fingers and said ‘no’. democracy is broken.

Tools used by scientists for decades to do pattern recognition? Yes, good. Let's not rely on the US for those, especially medical stuff.

LLM shite that has no use to anyone? No. Stop using it entirely.
