This is the thing I found a while back in a carpark, grown up a bit. Plantnet said was scurvy-grass back then, but now it thinks it's something called 'ponysfoots', which definitely sounds made up.

Urgh. Sorry, FF8, but I just do not care about the Squall/Rinoa romance plot 𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘭𝘭.
I get that Squall is emotionally stunted, and that's fine as a starting character trait, but the only substantial way he grows is charging off after Rinoa, despite having negative chemistry. It's just so 𝘣𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨.

Sadly I don't think the wild cut-leaf crane's-bill I was watching survived the snow. It's all withered up. But it's a geranium type thing and I think they're tough, so it might bounce back from the roots.🤞

I was poking around outside in the dark looking for some pots and I spotted this mysterious entity hiding among the remains of the pansies.
I'm guessing the fuzzy stuff is mycelium from the toadstool, but it could just be another kind of mould 😅

My water collection bin had a huge hollow ice plug that went most of the way from top to bottom. I fished it out with a rake and the inner surface was covered in delicate ice spurs, each projecting into the hollow space 🤩
