What Nico and new owners miss in the Mavs culture discussion is the fans. If you are going to preach culture but have zero respect for the fan base then you don't understand how the culture of a quality pro franchise works.

On January 6, 2021. My divorced wife left the house for good; I ended up in the emergency room due to a can opener mishap; and our capital was attacked by its own citizens. None of those things should have happened. There was a lot of hurt that day.

The year-end lists of best TV and movies are all interesting & wonderful, but the fact that they barely overlap and often feature things the public hasn’t heard of again shows the mixed blessings of the many rivulets of streaming: There’s something for everyone, but we don’t share a common culture.
