Kohner Vari-Vue blocks circa 1961. These are plastic, look like tvs. These are flicker or lenticular toys, allowing kids to shift between images forming a short (maybe 5 image) proto-gif.

Just like my character Mike Nelson on Sea Hunt doesn't need a shirt, the phrase 'and the sky is a hazy shade of winter' needs no hyphens. This is because the adjective phrase follows the noun. The song title, A Hazy Shade of Winter, also needs no hyphens.

If you see your reflection in 'snow-covered' hills, remember 'snow-covered' gets a hyphen. If 'the hills are snow covered', then no hyphen is used. No hyphen for 'mirror in the sky' or 'child within my heart' as those are noun phrases.

One seems to the general decline of the non-powered supporting character.

Pitching AI as 'It will let you take the day off?' Didn't bother to think this one through, did you Bueller.

Finally getting around to watching Gerry Andersin's 1969 The Secret Service.
Its very much like the Avengers or Man fron UNCLE - slightly zany and lots of fun.
It uses live action as 'special effects' but is mostly admirably realistic supermarionation.

Happy Superbowl Sunday. Here's Yogi Bear in a 1969 Giveaway comic - March of Comics 337. Western's March of Comics (recall March of Dimes, and comics had cost a dime) were massively circulated, some with 5 milion copies. Sears shoe dept was a big place to get one.

- My religion's got nothing to do with it
I had to look this up:
Obdurate is being hardened to appeals, like a stone. Obstinate is stubborning persisting to one's beliefs, even when wrong, due to pride.
Stan Lee had a vocabulary - or a thesaurus.

Often this comes up as 'Who would win in a fight' but Daredevil would know Batman is Bruce Wayne (if he's met both guises) and thats a powerful advantage to *avoid* conflict
Also - these two are like alternate umiverse equivalents. Be a great team-up ifnit has not happened yet.

Not only was Freight Train the first regular African-American character on an animated series (Where's Huddles 1970) , but he was voiced by Herbert Jeffrey
Who? Well, he was the Bronze Buckaroo - a baritone Black singing cowboy in all-Black cast Westerns.
