So just to be clear: The US is propping up Argentina’s economy, and now Argentina can eliminate its export taxes, so it can sell tons of soybeans to China, so China isn’t forced to buy soybeans from the US, so the US can pay subsidies to keep our farmers solvent.

A reminder the tariff crisis ends as soon as congressional Republicans want it to end.
(AXIOS) - The Senate on Wednesday killed a resolution that would have effectively reversed President Trump's 10% tariffs on all imported goods, with just three Republicans joining with Democrats in support of the measure.

All I keep thinking about is that if/when Dems regain power, every action to restore normality or basic functioning of governmental institutions will be covered by the national press like it’s a controversial, partisan power play on par with a coup.
