I finished the knitting on this months ago, but finally got round to weaving in the ends and blocking it.
A semi-circular shawl, pinned into shape on multicoloured foam mats. It is in 4 inch bands of purple and two shades of blue, some of them with lace or texture patterns.

This is a stupid position for a hedge, but I did just get a coaltit and two goldcrests right outside my window, so I'm happy.

I did some experimenting with art techniques today, getting more used to using various paints.
Two artist trading cards, painted with sunset in shades of red and yellow, and with aspects of landscapes added in sepia. One shows a water channel in a marsh, the other the tops of a house and some trees.
