I want to remind everyone that the US has sanctioned members of the International Criminal Court for going through a formal legal process to identify international leaders who engaged in war crimes, making them vulnerable to arrest.

My great grandparents fled Tsarist Russia as teenagers to build a better life for themselves in America. Almost every Jewish family in America, including Katie and Stephen Miller, share this background. I'm not sure how people like the Millers lost their way, but it breaks my heart to see. 1/x

Despite holding out Costa Rica as an option, DOJ has just publicly filed a notice in Abrego Garcia suggesting that it's identified the Republic of Liberia as the next country that's willing to accept Abrego Garcia (after it was rejected by/unable to make a deal with Ghana, Eswatini, & Uganda).

By way of context, a federal prosecutor is the representative not of an ordinary party
to a controversy, but of a sovereignty whose obligation to govern impartially is as
compelling as its obligation to govern at all. The obligation to govern impartially
concerns, above all, the state’s exercise of coercive power—meaning its power to
deprive its subjects of life, liberty, or property . . . As a representative of the state,
a prosecutor’s exercise of coercive power must be impartial . . . [in] that
