This is an obvious point, but cannot overstated. There is an enormous difference between deporting someone - where they get off a plane as a free citizen in their home country AND FUNNELING THEM INTO A BRUTAL PRISON FROM WHICH THEY HAVE NO CHANCE OF EVER EMERGING!!!

the thing I hate most about that rfk quote is that autistic lives have value and worth and beauty and dignity whether they are able to do the things other people do or not. no one is defined by ability or lack thereof and to frame divergence as lack is monster stuff, utterly godless

Trying something different this year. Instead of New Year’s resolutions, I’ve been working on a values exploration. Particularly the things that bring me joy & the things I want to see more of. This year’s focus will be on creativity, curiosity, connection with nature, and community. More to come

I feel like I might be in the organized protein soup phase of my life cycle, too
The caterpillar keeps its breathing system, imaginal discs and some of its organs. It breaks down the rest into clumps of cells. It will use this organized protein soup to rebuild itself!
