I had 1/3 of a can of the original loko. It was the only alcohol I’d had that night. I vomited lots.
My freshman year of college was the last of the Loko years and they sent us all an email saying effectively “Do NOT drink this, it is TOO crazy, it will make your parties TOO wild.” which had about exact the effect you would expect.

Watching the new Robin Hood series on MGM+. It’ll be interesting to see what they do with Eleanor of Aquitaine. They’re also starting the timeline while Henry II is king.

The problem with losing a parent young, but over 18 is that there aren’t grief groups centered on your demographic. The general ones are mostly widows and widowers. That’s a different kind of grief.

This is particularly silly but also by and large, magazines and newspapers do not make money from you clicking on articles nowadays. They make money from getting you to subscribe, which ragebait is counterproductive to.

Your yearly reminder that “holiday” celebrations that only include Christian traditions are not, in fact, inclusive even if you don’t use the word Christmas, so tbh I’d rather you just say it’s Christmas.
Until a few years ago, ugly holiday sweaters didn’t exist. They’re ugly Christmas sweaters, with some generic Jewish iconography to be “inclusive.” But the truth is, when I have to buy one to wear to a work party, I feel like I’m in another culture’s drag.
