Had eye doctor appointment today. Came to the point where I need to buy contacts. I demurre, fully planning on going to Costco. Woman looked me straight in the eye and said “I can beat Costco’s price.” And readers, she did. 🤣

Just emotional (protest?) ordered an Easter hamper from Fortnum & Mason because honestly I enjoy international trade and easy access to quality British goods and the irony of me buying tea that my government just put a tarif on is not lost to me.

As a plus size wide calf rider new tall boots are a mildly terrifying prospect (especially if you last wore tall boots about 20 years ago) but I just impulse bought boots on sale from Dover and they might fit? Probably not. 🤣

Took the kits to the vet today for their checkup and rabies shot and the poor people after us were saying goodbye to their pup and it was so very sad it made me cry.

Sometimes I think about how I was in grade school & the school nurse came to our classroom once a week with a bottle of fluoride and we all had to suffer through swishing that hellish liquid until we were told we could stop and now idiots are just taking it out of drinking water.
