What about this do government and wealthy people like Mraiche think is normal?!
November 29, 2025 at 5:58 PM
This is NOT normal. Government doesn’t exist for profiteers. It exists to serve ALL of US!!!

Stephen Maher wrote that Hodgson ignored Coastal First Nations for 2(!!!) months. That’s not good faith.

Don’t worry Albertans, Adriana Lagrange found ONE doctor who thinks their private pay plan will be great.
About that doctor, “Chin's Twitter feed is filled with retweets that question COVID-19 lockdowns and the value of vaccines, including videos of People's Party of Canada Leader Maxime Bernier. “

Unfortunately this person was elected to be my councillor. We have multi million dollar homes on islands in our ward. He wants to not fund more downtown office conversion projects so people in our ward, who don’t encounter our homelessness crisis often, can pay less in taxes.I cannot reconcile this.

The guy hates public healthcare and wants it to fail; which would it fails us. He can sue, to dismantle it but we can’t to protect it?!

If this didn’t harm people, the comedy would write itself.
The Smith/Sandro interview about DynaLife was also really something to see…

Who cares about housing for human beings when we have BINS to worry about?! /s obviously

I am so ashamed of this city. As someone who was priced out of living somewhere more central, with transit options,it’s pretty clear who is the priority. I guess they are just banking on young people staying

This is what our police service did yesterday. It’s honestly appalling. The unhoused have NOWHERE else to go. This is inhumane, cruel and a fundamental misunderstanding of what public safety is. What else do they expect them to do. They were using drones, horses, they ticked for loitering.
November 6, 2025 at 4:32 PM
It’s collaborative but provinces are the ones who make the purchase and it’s our province who is choosing to screw us out of safe and effective vaccines.
November 4, 2025 at 9:36 PM
I cannot believe council appointed THIS man to work on the police commission. What were they thinking? Do they care about our most vulnerable citizens at all? If he is focussed on public safety, we all become less safe.
November 4, 2025 at 4:08 PM
Nobody wants a provincial police force. Like fund our classrooms, support our most vulnerable, fund healthcare… this is such a waste. That they took out of their freaking platform.

Extremely concerned the deputy chief of staff of the premier of Alberta is spinning a very incorrect narrative about the Notwithstanding Clause… because yes, it does undermine fundamental rights and freedoms protected under the Charter.
October 26, 2025 at 9:09 AM
From LRT on the green… come on. I cannot. The province has made this project something we cannot use, making downtown less usable for it?!

I am posting an excerpt from Don Braid… where he quotes the Fraser Institute. It feels odd.

You really need to be more responsible with the messaging of your headlines. This is a very dangerous situation for the entire globe; good and honest reporting is essential. Leaving out the bulk of the statement is not ok.

Now, the feds are supposed to make sure there aren’t any vaccine supply gaps; I would argue Alberta’s provincial government is CAUSING a vaccine supply gap.

Here it is; in black and white. Please cite this to the premier. It’s her job. The fact she doesn’t know and wants to push lies that harm is unacceptable.

So they did do more surgeries (top line) while also dealing with ongoing waves of viruses that hospitalize people and push capacity beyond its limits.
