I'm reminded of a viral post from 15 years ago when a girl told a boy "ding ding boy, that's the elevator to take you back down to your level"
There’s a great expression from Argentinian Spanish about someone who’s sticking their oar in that goes vos no te peinés que no salís en esta foto. It means “don’t comb your hair because you don’t appear in this photograph.”

Trying to figure out my family tree. Trying to figure out my Catholic roots in Ireland has me 😵💫 Okay, so 9 great aunt/uncles and their spouses and kids. All desperately trying to find a cousin I met once in the 80’s. No clue her name or her parents’ names 😞

Only 155 pages in, but so far I recommend this book. I’ve struggled to keep up the motivation for reading (something I enjoyed for the first half of my existence).

It took a few months for the bird food to be found by the local bird association, but now I get 6+ regulars. I’m trying to give my cat the nature life she so misses, and I like feeding animals.
