We still tell him the story of how he slept through dinner at the Tate and walking over the Thames with you.

I guess that’s what Thanksgiving is like if you think bathing in the tears of hungry children will keep you young.

Look, my daughter’s name is Mina; I think about Dracula a lot.

1. Not everyone knows everything we do. Amazingly, some people don’t even know who Ea-Nasir is. 2. I think it’s funny too, but I also liked the goofy-faced guy I found, so I thought I’d share it.

I quote posted about The Queen of Smokey Mountain, which is a really sweet middle grade GN with a gentle queer romance.
The Queen of Smokey Mountain, out on sub again soon: Renata is a girl with the secret ability to talk to bugs, lifted out of poverty into the dazzling world of Philippine beauty pageants. The script is complete, though I’m making some revisions, and the artist is the amazing Amanda Castillo.

My agent is @redpenkaitlyn.bsky.social if any editors out there are interested in seeing the full submission package! Dealing with rejections that come with positive feedback has been tough because it always feels like we’ve gotten *this* close to a “yes.” My revisions are based on editor feedback.
