Ahmed al-Ahmed, the man who disarmed one of the shooters at Bondi Beach in Sydney today, is a Syrian Muslim.
He's in hospital, right now. He's a braver man than most I think would be in his situation.

Just watched online presentation by a US constitutional law expert who talked about America sliding into authoritarianism. Someone asked him what country has the strongest democracy in the world. He said the US 😳 I guess Australia - mandatory pref voting, independently operated - doesn’t exist then?
