"Keeper" was decent. Osgood Perkins does great atmosphere but he kinda cobbles creepy images together and tries to make it make sense later, unlike "Longlegs". Tatiana Maslany is great in it.

Mirren and Maslany played her at different ages in case that was confusing. Surprisingly excellent casting. They actually looked like they could be the same woman.

We watched a great movie last night, Woman in Gold, about the Klimt painting and the niece (played by Helen Mirren & Tatiana Maslany) of the woman in the painting and her efforts to recover the painting, which was stolen by the Nazis. Also starring Ryan Reynolds as the attorney.

I feel like watching 2010 is absolutely necessary if you want to justify the incomprehensible ending of 2001: A Space Odyssey.

First-time watch of 2010: THE YEAR WE MADE CONTACT. I had heard this was surprisingly solid, and indeed it was! Though hard not to be when you've got Roy Scheider anchoring your movie, and then John Lithgow, Helen Mirren, and Bob Balaban in the supporting cast. And Douglas Rain doing the HAL voice!

The immaculate 2AM vibes of this space-age documentary about the universe. Beautiful black and white live action cinematography and miniature models with serene voice over by Douglas Rain. Give it a watch.

This is the story of a voice, its documentary roots, its skilful theatricality, and its impact on the culture and technology. How Canadian actor Douglas Rain gave his voice to 2001: A Space Odyssey and changed cinema forever.

best we've got right now is Murdoch Mysteries, a detective show set in late 1800's Toronto, where the lead characters regularly invent modern technology by accident. Detective Murdoch created the Roomba. Tatiana Maslany's brother plays a gay jewish cop. It's incredible.
