Just last year, the EPA strengthened its own soot standard that would protect public health and clean air for millions of Americans. But now, President Trump’s EPA is siding with corporate polluters, trying to get rid of this vital rule.

Three things about the Witkoff tapes:

1) It appears Western intelligence services have decided to let Witkoff (and Trump) know they have recordings of their traitorous conversations w/Russia.

2) This Ukraine "deal" was all Witkoff's idea.

3) Congressional leaders should demand he be fired.

The entire world can clearly see that Putin owns Steve Witkoff and yet Witkoff is the one that Trump wants leading the negotiations on a peace deal. If Putin owns Witkoff, and Trump doesn’t care, that means Putin owns Trump - either directly, by proxy, or by stupidity.

Trump's EPA & DOJ are asking 3 federal judges to ignore & defy a 9-0 Supreme Court decision authored by Antonin Scalia that concludes the Clean Air Act's plain language bars EPA from weighing compliance costs when deciding how much air pollution is medically unsafe to breathe.

Brazenly reckless.
'“EPA now confesses error,” DOJ attorneys wrote, adding EPA should have put greater weight on the “extraordinary” compliance costs associated with the new limit.

But a VT law prof noted a SCt ruling bars EPA from considering potential compliance costs when setting clean air health standards.'

Yup.

So either Trump spoke to Bolsonaro about plotting to escape to the US right before the latter got caught trying to saw off his ankle monitor, or Trump imagined a conversation he didn’t have. Both scenarios are incredibly dark

- Saturday afternoon: Trump says he spoke to Bolsonaro the night before and planned to see him “in the very near future”

- Monday afternoon: The Trump White House isn’t sure whether Trump actually had the conversation he referenced two days earlier

Worse, the Trump EPA & Justice Dept. took the unprecedented step late last night of asking a court to do its dirty work for them & to kill safer health standards against deadly soot pollution for all Americans—without the court even hearing the merits of the health standards, science & law.
