FYI, per DOJ, "approximately 100" Oregon National Guard troops remained federalized — but not deployed — as of today.

(While deployment remains blocked, the part of Judge Immergut's order ending the federalization of the Oregon National Guard remains stayed.)

There’s no telling how many similar stories are not being told for fear of retaliation.

By now, everyone should realize Trump is not going after violent criminals or the worst of the worst—he is terrorizing everyone, including U.S. citizens, and their loved ones.

The Illinois AG sent cease and desist letters to rental car companies for allowing plate swapping on their vehicles. They have a Plate Watch hotline there - through the AG's office. Can we have efforts with our OR DOJ like this?

The law applies to all of us - including federal officers.

We recently put the Department of Homeland Security & US Department of Justice on notice: they must halt all unlawful actions by federal officers in Oregon, and we are actively monitoring federal conduct.

Hegseth is very transparently blaming a Navy admiral for his own decision. Let this be a lesson for every other military officer: The Trump administration will issue unlawful orders, then blame you for following them.

Soon small businesses won’t have to wait for Small Business Saturday to get attention from their Mayor.

The "presumption of regularity" has been shed...
The Trump administration likes to deride any judge who would constrain it as a “rogue activist”. Nearly a year into the president’s second term, there are dozens of them in district and circuit courts
Donald Trump’s revenge agenda is not going well
So far, the courts are largely holding fast against politically motivated prosecutions

I hope every judge is now vigilant for government representatives lying outright to courts.

"...at the heart of it is [Judge] Ellis’s conclusion that Border Patrol Commander Gregory Bovino repeatedly engaged in “outright lying” about the circumstances on the ground in Chicago..."
Me on DOJ’s behavior: “it’s malevolence *exacerbated* by incompetence. That’s problematic enough for the government’s credibility before federal district judges. But at some point soon, one suspects that the Supreme Court itself may well have to grapple with its consequences—or risk being duped.”
