Can we talk about the fact that at the high school where I currently teach in central Texas there has been 2 instances of N*zi vandalism in the last 2 weeks that I know of? Bless the kid who crossed it out, but my class set of annotation instructions:
Sensitive content: hand drawn N*zi symbol on white cardstock. Someone has also crossed the symbol out and written “Bad” next to it with a frowny face.

I want to facilitate pet adoptions for kids affected by trauma & mental illness by partnering a local pet adoption facility (I'll reach out to them BEFORE posting their name) with the Student Counseling Center at the High School where I work: by covering the adoption fees.

As I look ahead to #IMC2025 I want to see if any of my #MedievalSky moots might be interested in saying hello.

My beloved Fantastico has cancer, so we are going to spend the next few days partying like it’s 1999! Ironically I’ve never given her kitty junk food because I was averse to feeding her all the bad-for-you additives.

My Kitty Fantastico has open wound on left knee. I was home with her all day except lunch time. There’re no other ppl or animals in my apt. Doc THINKS an abscess may have ruptured, but I had to give the okay to sedate for real exam. Now I wait.

I did a similar thing with the Book History club at Texas Tech recently! I love the student involvement with experiential learning.
