Went on my first motocamping adventure last week. We spent the first night at Pachena Bay in Bamfield. It was amazing! The whales played in the bay all afternoon.

This is concerning.
A come-to-Jesus moment for American lawyers, and for America's most important law firms.

This is it.

This is the moment you always imagined, where you told yourself you would do the right thing -- where you told yourself that your profession would stand up.

Law firms refuse to represent Trump opponents in the wake of his attacks
The result is an extraordinary threat to constitutional rights of due process and representation and a far weaker effort to challenge Trump’s actions in court than during his first term.

Awesome day of mid-island riding! Little traffic and relatively dry roads. Great visit in Cumberland and a glorious sunset riding back into Campbell River! #vancouverisland #vanisle

The most insane part of all this is the MAGA reality dysfunction and conspiracy theories are truth-adjacent:

We read this in high school. I don't know if it was required or we just had an awesome teacher. Is it part of the curriculum in BC or anywhere else in Canada?

All press must stand in solidarity with @apnews.com and boycott the White House press briefings. This is a direct assault on the Freedom of the Press. The government infringing on the free speech of one press outlet is the government infringing on the free speech of all press outlets.
The White House says it will bar the Associated Press from the Oval Office and Air Force One indefinitely due to the news outlet's use of Gulf of Mexico

This is unbelievable. (I checked Google Maps to make sure it wasn't fake—it's not fake.)
Clearly I need to wean myself off Google.

I don't know who needs to hear this,

but "scientists don't know everything and have been wrong before"

does not mean that a random-ass conspiracy theory with no evidence

should be given the same respect as the overwhelming weight of scientific evidence and expert consensus.
