If you're not trans, I don't think I can fully explain how important this is.

It's so powerful that one of the most circulated science media publications in the world has come out and said "trans children are real and providing transition care improves their lives." That's groundbreaking.
The name "Popular Science" doesn't mean we shift our coverage depending on public opinion. It means we cover relevant subjects that are rigorously researched, reliable, and grounded in reality.

And trans lives are grounded in reality.

We see y'all. No matter what.

First-of-a-kind study shows encouraging data for trans kids who socially transition
Ninety-four percent of participants in a new study stood firm in their trans identity after five years, and "detransitioning" is rare.

A perfect episode of television.
30 years ago today, Don Brodka (that’s right, Don Brodka) banned Bart from the Try-N-Save for attempted theft. “Marge Be Not Proud” first aired December 17, 1995.

I know it’s too soon to speculate on who committed the latest mass shooting, but I’m going to go out on a limb and say it was someone who shouldn’t have had a gun.

In 1995, a friend showed me that the movie Babe had a website where you could download pictures of the animals and play little games. I was sold. Today, the world is falling apart, and 90% of the internet is people hoping that a woman who brings joy to millions will fail and her fans will be sad.

@reptedlieu.bsky.social Why did you vote in favor of Charlie Kirk Remembrance Day? Do you think this is what your constituents would want?

@timcarvell.bsky.social This would be a great time to switch to a daily format. Last Week Tonightly?

The left isn’t “dancing on Charlie Kirk’s grave,” we’re just pointing out that, thanks to rhetoric like his, a lot of other graves exist.

Nothing sums up who Trump is more than the fact that he believes he can bully his way to getting the Nobel Peace Prize.
Trump's falling out with Modi is embarrassingly petty

"Mr. Modi’s refusal to engage on the Nobel Peace Prize has played an outsize role in the souring relationship between the two leaders."

Etsy boycotts are a good start. Now EVERY corporation needs to take a side. Money is the only language people in power speak. Trump is building fucking concentration camps in America. We’re all in this fight, and if you’re staying neutral, I’ll spend my money somewhere else, thanks.

Yet another reminder that this pathetic little man has never known and will never know a moment of true happiness or love in his entire life.

not the main issue here but i'd really appreciate it if democratic politicians spoke out in support of big-city life and culture with the same energy and reverence that all politicians have for small towns

los angeles is "real america" and so are all the other big cities the president hates

Um, if you can’t defend your vote, maybe don’t tell people about your vote?

Sure, bribery is bad, but aren’t there also national security implications of our president traveling around in a jet made by a foreign government? Isn’t there a cautionary tale in history about accepting gifts from other countries? Something about a horse? #trojanplane

The natural endpoint of Reagan’s “I’m from the government, and I’m here to help” crack was having buffoons like this saying, “What am I supposed to do? I’m only from the government branch in charge of this very thing.”

Democrats have the White Lotus.
