Feeling blunt and mean, so:

A lot of cis women feel that trans women have no epistemic authority on the topic of misogyny. They can be nice to us, but if we assert ourselves on the topic, their transmisogyny tends to flare up.

Which is a shame. They haven't seen men's misogyny like we have.
Cis women who lecture trans women for hating men are weak and will not survive virtually anything. The weakest link, in fact.

if someone were to call a cis woman a man, or mannish, everyone would recognize that as a degrading, misogynistic outburst. but if they did that to a trans woman, suddenly we have to talk about whether society sees us as women or men, and it has to be this complex, nuanced thing. but it's an insult!

I can write all the theory in the world but the simple and most intuitively understood aspect of transmisogyny doesn't need much interrogation.

People think we rejected privilege to cosplay as the abused and the instinctive reaction is, "I'll abuse you all I like then!"
