A house divided against itself cannot stand. It was as true when Lincoln quoted it as it was when Jesus said it. I am not ready to say goodbye to America, and I will post one issue a day that most Americans agree on, regardless of political party.

The president must follow the Constitution. If he wants to push the boundaries, we’ll hold the line in court.

This is America. The U.S. military has no place in our streets.

Portland is peaceful. There is no reason to deploy National Guard here.

a high armhole allows for freer and more comfortable movement
Joey Mannarino in a dark brown tailored jacket. The low armhole is causing his jacket to lift. Someone in an inflatable frog costume. The high armhole allows them to raise their arm without disturbing the rest of the garment

I met the nicest Vietnam Vet in Puerto Rico. They have fought and died for America, and they deserve so much better than second class citizenship. They should decide their own fate, with all the support the states can muster.
Racism is destroying this nation. We need a new path.

BREAKING: I just forced a vote with Senator Kaine to block the unauthorized boat strikes in the Caribbean.

In an important step forward, the vote was bipartisan, even if it fell two votes short.
Bipartisan measure to restrict Trump’s war powers fails in Senate
A bipartisan Senate resolution to restrain Trump’s ability to wage war against alleged Venezuelan drug traffickers failed in a 48-51 vote.

I imagine Dems and the media are glad they aren't changing the 60 vote rule, because then the budget would pass and millions of Americans wouldn't be able to afford health insurance. Let sleeping dogs lie?

The next Supreme Court term is shaping up to be the most consequential since 1937. Depending on how it rules, it may cease to be accepted as a legitimate arbiter, and even nullify its own power as an independent judiciary.

I thank God for every example of their incompetence, and am praying He will thwart their evil plans.

We are facing the consequences of our failures as a nation. We allowed racism to go on and on in the shadows for too long, among other failures.

I am so curious to know who was apparently in Miller's ear, freaking out about what he said. It's speculative, but maybe it's a good sign - maybe Miller is less a puppeteer and more a puppet.

The Justice Department had 36 attorneys assigned full-time to investigate corrupt politicians when Trump took office in January.

Today it has two.

See how this works?

1. On Monday, Trump delivered a $70 million windfall to his billionaire buddy, John Paulson.

Paulson hosted the biggest fundraiser of Trump's 2024 campaign, raising over $50 million.

This week, Trump returned the favor.

Follow along for details.

It's been over 9 months since the Palisades and Eaton Fires tore through Los Angeles. We asked for federal support, but we haven’t heard a word from the White House.

Not a single offer.

Is this what leadership looks like? Abandoning the American people when they call for help?

Adelita Grijalva won her election fair and square.

Now House Speaker Mike Johnson is refusing to swear her in because she would be the final signature to release the Epstein files.

Mr. Speaker, respect democracy. Obey the law. Swear Representative Grijalva in immediately.

A national political party could just send a bunch of electeds to Portland for a weekend to look around, with cameras following them. I mean, national news outlets could also do this, but OK.

can someone sue CNN like trump did to CBS?
jesusforgives.bsky.social
Why would CNN carefully edit it out of the interview?
If it's relatively mundane when applied to a democratically elected president, why chop it out?
And why did Miller's friend in his ear bud apparently have a meltdown over it, if it's no big whoop?
