I am so frustrated with #apple products. they are less accessible with each update. I have been a user since the early 1980s. I purchased a phone, iPad & powerbook in the last 2 years. If the company doesn’t fix things, these are my last products. Apparently no actual help in voice to text loss.

When/if any company spams me with emails about “building my skills in using AI for creative writing”— I will report them when I unsubscribe as offensive content. Creative people do not want to write their novels with your stupid product. Readers don’t want to read the crap that comes out of AI.

Trading stories
I’ll trade you a story, one of the funny ones, from my childhood for an afternoon in July and sipping wine in the garden watching sunflowers worship the sun and sweet peas winding their way up the fen...

48 hours before the event, I was asked to present three workshops because someone was sick. The workshops were outside of & adjacent to my strengths. VSB teachers were incredible & engaged. lesson is say yes to hard things and sometimes it’s amazing! Photo of mr. D. who missed me greatly.

so, first, if we can create a better delivery system, yay! But powder inhalers are not as effective for me so far.

And, sure, let’s call out asthma patients when the reason for asthma is often related to the pollution & destruction of our environments led by capitalism! ffs
Climate pollution from inhalers has the impact of half a million cars per year, study finds
The people who are most vulnerable to the hard-to-breathe air that comes with climate change may inadvertently be adding to the problem, new research finds.

Amazon keeps adding me back to audible. 3 times now-hell to end subscription I never asked for & a forced scramble to use 2 pts (they disappear if you do not use when you cancel) the new fear that if I listen to a book I paid for will triggers this near $17/month that I do not want.

when someone in a position of power attempts to bully pregnant women to basically suck it up regarding fevers and pain, I call bullshit.

I miscarried twins at 16 weeks after a fever of over 107 degrees Fahrenheit. fever is serious. You cannot, “suck it up”

For more than a decade, professor of forest hydrology Younes Alila’s research showed how B.C.’s land management choices can amplify floods and landslides.

He published in peer-reviewed journals, warned officials and spoke to anyone willing to listen.

Few did.
