Cities' ability to set tax policy should not have to go through the Legislature, and it's disgusting how much contempt Senate Leadership has for the City of Boston. It's such a century-old throwback.

At some point, there really needs to be a serious conversation in every state/jurisdiction/federal district about the need for a lot of the lawyers enabling this to face some very serious discipline, and that is up to and including disbarment.
Just saw this today. This is a transparent attempt to KILL DUE PROCESS by lying about the job of immigration judge and stacking the deck through hiring only bloodthirsty lawyers who want to deport people.
This comes after they pushed out over 100 judges deemed too likely to grant relief.

At some point, there really needs to be a serious conversation in every state/jurisdiction/federal district about the need for a lot of the lawyers enabling this to face some very serious discipline, and that is up to and including disbarment.
Oh so these are 100% the people who are livid about Mamdani being elected in a city/state none of them even live in and so now they need to punish the whole country.

Without a doubt, @jimaloisi.bsky.social is one of the best #bospoli #mapoli voices on here. I remember seeing this post he made a while back, and thinking he was probably right a 30 point margin was overly optimistic.

Two quick thoughts about the Boston #mapoli mayor's race: (1) Kraft can't win - his negative messaging isn't compelling, limited to White Stadium & bike lanes; (2) Wu will win the primary but unrealistic expectations that she will win by a 30 point margin need to be managed by her campaign.
