Just finished Volume 1 of the finale season of #StrangerThings and I can’t even begin to explain my excitement when they mentioned A Wrinkle in Time! That was and still is one of my all time favourite books and seeing all the references to it made me geek out so much!

Absolutely heartbroken to hear of the passing of Jane Goodall. She was truly a juggernaut in her field and a source of inspiration to so many women in research (both within and outside of animal cognition). Rest in peace Jane knowing your legacy will live on for generations. ❤️

Currently watching the final #Wicked: For Good trailer on repeat until I can get through it without tearing up so I can mentally prepare myself for seeing it in cinemas.

If tonight’s many wins at #TheEmmys don’t convince you to watch The Studio, I don’t know what will.

But you seriously should. It’s an amazing show.

Congrats to Stephen Colbert on his show’s win. Brillian way to go out on the very network that threw him under the bus. #emmys

Laughing over the fact that Sydney Sweeney just walked out, announced the category and winner, and then left. It’s almost like she knew no one really wanted to hear her talk. #Emmys

Such a well-deserved win! Tillman is seriously a phenomenal actor and his performance in Severance is nothing short of spectacular #Emmys
“Severance" actor Tramell Tillman has won the Emmy for outstanding supporting actor in a drama series. He is the first Black man ever to win the award #Emmys

I just got booted off the wifi right as I was watching a video of a cat and a dog playing the piano together and now I can’t find it again and I honestly can’t remember the last time I was this upset about something

I’m watching S2 of Wednesday and I think Jenna Ortega would really thrive in a Wes Anderson film.

Watching the original cast of Hamilton on the Tony awards was a reminder of how revelatory and exciting and moving and new Hamilton was when it first appeared ten years ago.

Thank you, Lin-Manuel Miranda—and everyone who created it.

Literally exactly what my mother said to me several episodes ago and she repeats it every week.
"What do you mean, 'Because that's how the game goes'?!"

I moved from Twitter/X to BlueSky to avoid politics, but I have to say this bullsh*t w/ RFK Jr is quite possibly some of the most infuriating nonsense I’ve ever heard. As a neurodivergent woman, to hear such insidious (and false) rhetoric is disgusting, ESPECIALLY during Autism Awareness Month.

Decided to save the finale of #TheWhiteLotus (so I could kinda binge it back to back with the premiere of S2 of #TheLastofUs). All I have to say is…when will I ever learn my lesson and stop getting so emotionally attached to TV/movie characters?

The show’s satire of super-wealth is framed through many of Sheakeapre’s great tragedies: Hamlet, Othello, Romeo and Juliet, and King Lear.

Just saw several “news stories” and the thumbnail of one *totally* legit looking YouTube video about how Jenna Ortega will be replacing Rachel Zegler in the new #SnowWhite movie….the same movie that’s been playing in cinemas for over 2 weeks now…the same movie currently starring Rachel Zegler

I just pitched #WhiteLotus to a family member by describing it as “a bunch of rich people being messy as f*ck…oh, and murder” apparently this was enough to sell them on the concept.

It’s bizarre to see Ben Stiller doing silly physical comedy at the #Oscars and remember that he’s also the same Ben Stiller who directs #Severance.

Raye is one of the only people I can think of who can truly do Adele justice. What a breathtaking performance! I’m glad she’s finally starting to get more recognition. #Oscars

Just when I thought #Severance had reached its peak with Ep 4 (‘Woe’s Hollow’), they deliver what is possibly one of the most captivating, beautiful, and mind-boggling episodes of television I’ve ever seen. If Jessica Lee Gagné doesn’t get a nomination for outstanding directing I’ll riot.
