Ain't pretty and only had pink, not red food dye, but they were delicious red velvet cupcakes as requested by my (in less than two days!) 8 yo for her class bday.🍽️

It's about time for the Hanukkah Pastrami. Got a full brisket from the butcher, had him trim off the end for me to use as burger meat, and trim down fat cap. Then I used a variation of Ruhlman's cure and a spice combo to start corning the meat. in the fridge for at least a week. 🍽️

Had a lazy day so made some no knead bread. Fell asleep during proofing so I was sloppy with steps and time. Dad bought me a new bread knife so I wanted something to try to cut. 🍽️

Got the potatoes rinsed and waiting in water, Brussels prepped lol, rolls rising, turkey studded with herbed butter over stuffing (with some wings over gluten free stuffing). Will also 🍽️

This was all yesterday. Everything that can be made ahead has been—today I’ll be roasting the butter herbed studded turkey on a bed of stuffing while making gluten free stuffing, braised Brussels with chestnuts, mashed and sweet potatoes, gravy, and serving with kugel and homemade cranberry sauce 🍽️

Got two chocolate cherry breads baking on a steal, same breads on the counter, some gluten free (one) and regular pie crust (four). Not pictured is the mushrooms I sautéed waiting for the oven for Thursday's stuffing 🍽️

Guess I'll do a thread as I remember of things I'm making. Got some chocolate cherry bread (Paul Hollywood) everyone asks for every year, some pecans for GF pecan pie, and some GF and regular pie crusts. I"ll post as I remember throughout week. Also Cranberries! 🍽️
