January is my down time. I do some weaving and catch up with admin but otherwise I work on projects for « me ». I’m currently spinning wool for a jumper.

Driving in the uk for the first time in ages. Why are there so many tyres on the edge of the fast lane of the M25 and the M3? (And others no doubt).

I had every intention of reporting on @lornasixsmith.bsky.social new book but the show has been so busy I’m still on chapter. 2! Loving it though. Just what I needed to get me through the quiet times.

I made a patch/quilted jacket for my granddaughter and it has been accepted for a competition. If you would like to vote please follow the link. It’s in French but international votes are welcome! Photo of grandchild in said jacket added to help you choose!

To survive an 18 day exhibition I have to cut it (mentally) into chunks. So, at the end of today there will only be another two weeks. I can do two weeks.
Yesterday I sold 4 scarves which helps - weekdays are always quieter.

Back in silk! 15kgs arrived and I managed to get two more scarves woven and priced over the weekend. Off to Le Mans on Friday for the last show of the year.
