As I decisively moved to openly supporting and defending trans rights, I learnt more about the origins of the moral panic. I realised how the whole thing was an insidious game being played by the hard- and far right to recruit.

🏛️ Beautiful mosaic floor of the Roman baths at the Sanctuary of Poseidon, Isthmia, Greece. The baths were built ca 150 CE and were used by the athletes who performed in the Isthmian Games. The mosaic depicts Triton and sea creatures. Video filmed a couple of days ago.

I’ve been a follower of both Ezra Klein’s and Ta-Nehisi Coates’ writing and commentary for years.

Klein has progressively gotten on my nerves for a while…and now? I’m done with him completely. 👎

Coates, on the other hand, consistently drops truth and wisdom we all need to hear.
