J is home sick today. It would be an early release, so done at 2pm. She is still asleep. She has literally slept through the school day. If not obvious, I am insanely jealous.

Have you guys had real feta before? Like, not the grocery store stuff. Or even the “good stuff” from Weiland’s but like feta from a Mediterranean market? Until tonight, I had not and my life is changed. It’s so much more flavorful, texturally interesting, and worth eating.

Here’s the thing, the execution of the case doesn’t need to be well done. It drains resources from the defendant, it causes stress, and hurts the defendants public image. It’s a master class of how to inflict maximum harm without technically doing anything.

“I was a litigator for 21 years, and it’s safe to say that I never witnessed the level of legal incompetence that we are witnessing from the Trump administration,” our columnist David French writes.
Opinion | The Comey Case Is a Comedy of Errors
The incompetence of the Trump administration is interfering with some of its worst excesses.

Why would anyone want Cheetos without artificial colors and flavors? Artificial flavors are the entire reason to eat Cheetos. And the color, nuclear orange, pairs perfectly.

The premise that the Reagan era was somehow less dangerous or something of which we should aspire is deeply flawed and frankly insulting.

Could Trump prove to be a temporary aberration on the Republican Party? Might it “return to its Reaganite essence once the man who has done so much to trash it finally leaves the Oval Office in a few years?” Damon Linker asks in a guest essay.

They make a whole bunch of various KitKat flavors, which is fine, but the regular flavor variant that is shaped like The Count is crazy weird. It tastes right, but it’s one piece the size of the normal 2 and my brain can’t process it.

A team of researchers analyzed the anatomical dimensions of an infamous imprint on a Chicago sidewalk, sifting through photos and measuring mammal specimens in museum collections to put what they were seeing in context.

Their conclusion? The Chicago Rat Hole was not made by a rat.

I will never understand the hero worship for this guy. You don’t get credit for keeping everyone alive during a completely preventable and unnecessary emergency. He knew this trip would be a disaster and he knew he wasn’t prepared but went anyway. That is negligence and it is wrong.
