My art is pointless.
It serves no purpose.
It's social media fodder that quite literally has five minutes of fame before it disappears in the bowels of the feed forever.
And that's something I want to figure out in the new year. A way to give my art more permanence, a little more meaning. (1/2)

Perchta is a large humanoid creature vaguely resembling an elderly woman. Known for entering homes full of refuse, chaos and filth.

Remember your favorite creator possibly might be struggling with imposter syndrome and doubt and this timeline sucks.. so if you find yourself thinking “wow I really relate to this persons work” or that persons work gives you joy, you should probably tell them. It’s a hard time to be a creative.

A 100 years ago the only way to get noticed was to get your paintings into some exclusive gallery or salon and it'd be only seen by locals,
and now I have people from across the world in Tingtangwallawallabingbang, Australia hopping into my inbox to say me my art is neat.

Show your work off, talk about what your happy with, the end results your proud of, talk about how you grew and what you learned in the process and most of all just say you think you did grate with something if you feel it. You being happy with your work is healthy and you should show that as well.
One of the cruelest tricks society played on creative people was planting the idea that being proud of your work is somehow unseemly and egotistical.
You made a thing! You like it! You SHOULD be proud of it. Brag all you want!
