Holy shit.

To put this in context, the *conservative* estimate is that ~10% of all infections - not people, INFECTIONS - will result in Long Covid.

This is going to remove a significant section of the people eligible to donate. It's going to be a HUGE problem, especially if (when?) it goes global.
I want people grasp the scale of what it means that now you can no longer donate blood in the UK if you have #LongCovid - and what it'll mean if the ban becomes global.
