Hello All. I’m a biologist/professor and a lifelong Alabamian. I’m deleting the other platforms this weekend, and will be much more active here. I’d love to find people into science, education, nature, reading, gaming, hiking, fishing/hunting, among other things. I’d also love to connect with

Also GOP: crashes grindr when they have the smallest of gatherings

when UNC scored on the first possession of the first game and Colin Cowherd immediately posted this, and then UNC lost by 34
Wasn’t really sure what to expect from Chapel Bill. But after that drive, I have him as second best college coach I’ve ever seen, just below Saban.

Bondi claiming they arrested [checks notes] "the girlfriend of one of the founders of antifa" has me in stitches
atrupar.com
Bondi: "Bondi: "Just like we did with cartels, we are going to take the same approach, President Trump, with antifa -- destroy the entire organization from top to bottom. We are going to take them apart."

Raccoons are one of the most common mammals seen in the USA that aren't domesticated. They're extremely smart, proven by several studies, to have the ability to solve puzzles and pick locks using their incredible memories. Their teeth are interesting too....
A night, black and white photo from my garden showing a raccoon sitting down facing the camera. It's holding its front paws together close to the ground. Its black face mask and nose are visible as are its little, roundish raccoon ears. Its mouth is slightly open giving a look at its teeth including its canine teeth. There are plants and shrubs to the side of the raccoon and behind it. There are small landscaping rocks on the ground.

they don’t want you to know how they treat prisoners because it will grieve you to know it, which is natural and human, and because of your normal human reaction you will want the system changed. It’s important to them that your natural aversion to how the system works not be engaged.

Did any dems vote to confirm him? We deserve to know so we can vote forever someone else.

What’s wild, is the majority of them are invoking the same God this preacher was. Who has “God’s” favor??

Gonna be thinking about this lede for a minute.
(RNS) — Last month, the Rev. David Black stood in front of a Chicago-area U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility and spread his arms wide. Adorned in all black and wearing a clerical collar, the pastor looked up at a group of masked, heavily armed ICE agents on the roof and began to pray.

“I invited them to repentance,” Black, a minister in the Presbyterian Church (USA), said in an interview. “I basically offered an altar call. I invited them to come and receive that salvation, and be part of the kingdom that is coming.”

But when Black began to lower his arms a few seconds later, the agents responded to his spiritual plea by firing pepper balls, or chemical agents that cause eye irritation and respiratory distress, video footage shows. One struck Black in the head, exploding into a puff of white pepper smoke and forcing him to his knees. Fellow demonstrators rushed to his aid, and as the pastor rubbed his face in pain, the agents continued to fire.

“We could hear them laughing,” Black said.

I wonder what Gov Ivey has to say about this? Has anyone asked her or our reps/sanators? @alabamareflector.com @alreporter.com @alpoliticsthisweek.com @al.com

Sounds like she’s embarrassed to call herself a libertarian. Libertarians are just embarrassed to call themselves republican. So it’s 2nd degree embarrassment separation?

Same.

At the same time, the current national situation and the seemingly good health of the 💩🤡’s making decisions while a WONDERFUL human like Dolly is sick should certainly cause ppl to question the presence and/or ideals of any omnipotent being.

If they weren’t pieces of shit doing illegal things then there wouldn’t be leakers leaking the illegal things they are shittily doing. That’s the most efficient way to deal with “leakers”.

I hope these ppl beat the fuck out of these “lie detectors”.

Um, ICE just coldly shot an unarmed PRIEST in the head w a pepper ball when he (and everyone around him) clearly posed no threat.

For the crime of … complaining about government policy.

Core 1A speech.

With cameras rolling, they’re sniping priests for sport.

As we enter the annual War on Christmas™ season, take note at who cries about Christianity being under attack but has fuck-all to say about armed agents of the state shooting pastors in the head with pepper balls.
