If we are allowed to have elections in the U.S. again, and a Democrat becomes president, I hope he/she is taking note of the republican belief that the president can do whatever he/she wants and acts accordingly.

People rightly posting that presidents do not have plenary power miss the point. He believes he does and is acting as if he did, so the real question is — who’s going to stop him?

So it seems YouTube TV is about to do it again — lose one of their partners (Fox) if they can’t negotiate a deal. Fewer channels for the same (or more) money is becoming their motto.

I’m at the point where I want an entirely new Red Sox team. Replace everyone. This is a team of likable guys who can’t play very well, and it’s so damn frustrating.

The Red Sox’s biggest foes this season seem to be first base — the position and base itself — and the All-Star break. Like last year, the break appears to have robbed them of their pre-break momentum.
