With "AI," the glut is in server GPUs and RAM, which isn't the kind of thing you can just plug into your home PC.

Most of it will be junk and we'll still have a shortage.

I know it's not the biggest deal, but the fucking indignity of having to scrape around for five year old parts just to cobble together a single working gaming PC for the sake of a blatant financial scam is irritating as fuck.

If capitalism doesn't exist to provide for our needs and wants, fuck it.
