I want people to really understand and grapple with how bad it is for victims and all of us to live in a system where sexual violence is not punished, but victims are punished more for coming forward. I need people to see it for what it is so that we can actually do something about it

my cynical mind says get white people injured. i know they’re there. they’re fucking everywhere but for some reason minneapolis was a focus and for a lot more attention and it’s been bugging me for a while.

it seems moving to the midwest is the only clear solution. seems to be the only time anyone cares in the media
So what do we do to break through the noise? I know there’s resistance going on, but I don’t see anything.
They’re doing it here in Maine too although we don’t get coverage.
