This. So much. Why is this suddenly ok? Just because he believes he can't be prosecuted for it? That's wrong. Corruption isn't even remotely within the remotest perimeters of official and thus protected acts. It is explicitly prohibited by the Constitution. Which means it can't be official. Wake up.
I’m still baffled at how America took one of the basic principles of the presidency — the occupant shouldn’t be able to benefit financially from the office — and just said, nah, that just doesn’t count for this one guy.

Could someone let the Republicans know that the corruption they're always screaming about is happening in plain sight.
The Trump family’s cryptocurrency business just got a $2B investment from a firm backed by the United Arab Emirates government.

With this deal, they will be enriched beyond most people’s comprehension—and they have the UAE government to thank for it.

Abuses of the tax code was one of the items in the original impeachment case against Nixon. Using the tax code to selectively target enemies - and decimate civil society - is the next step in the authoritarian agenda.
DEVELOPING: There is chatter coming out of the White House that as early as next week Donald Trump may issue as many as 5 Executive Orders targeting US-based nonprofits and civil society organizations.

What is this a pretext for? He and the GOP have long shown interest in going after Social Security. What are they going to try?
