In the face of European leader after European leader meekly invoking “rules-based order”, “international law”, “closely monitoring”, “the UN Charter”…

"Oppression" - Tibet?

"Lot of people being killed" - Uyghur rights violations found by UN report 'may constitute crime against humanity.'

"Freedom of speech" - Arrest of journalists, activists and opposition figures in Hong Kong.
The Taoiseach says the “oppression” being experienced in Iran must come to an end and that he would like to see further sanctions imposed on the country.

It comes as human rights groups say more than 500 people have now been killed in anti-government protests.

Interesting read 💕🦩
All righty -- this year's writerly resolution is live, should you care to read it. The tl;dr is it's actually quite an optimistic read, so hopefully it'll give you some juice to kick open the new year and put words to stories that need to be told.
