How bad are tariffs going?

I paid for $32 of shaving cream from Canada. Unique stuff I’ve used for years, nothing like it in US. Small family business.

UPS guy came to my door today with box and said I have to pay additional $120 before he can hand it to me.

That makes it 5x more expensive!!! 🤯

We had an amazing time at the Writers Association of Northern Appalachia conference. Lots of people making connections, writing, reading, listening. We had tremendous vendors, a beautiful library and bar. And Wheeling gave us a gorgeous sunset over the Ohio River at the end of the day on Saturday.

And that's one of the reasons (some of them) really like generative AI. It enables them to produce so much noise that it's hard to cut through and figure out what's true or false.
"Flooding the zone" as Steve Banon called it. Other's call it Media Blietzkrieg, which might lead to actual blietzkrieg.
