Trump literally calls them pigs to their faces and they hush up like scared little children afraid of making daddy mad, won't even defend their own. Pretty sad and pathetic. Oh well, I look forward to them finding their spines and pretending to care about norms when a Democrat is in the White House.

I'm sure on one hand Trump's sudden reversal on the bill was because of the optics of the loss he'd suffer but I feel like the main reason is because he already knows the fix is in and that there won't be anything released that will be super damaging for him politically. Hope I'm wrong but...

Like does anyone genuinely believe that this DOJ won't alter the documents? Not just redacting but full on falsify them? Pam Bondi has zero credibility and I think anyone who believes whatever is released will be representative of the truth especially in relation to Trump is deluding themselves.

Gotta wait until he does something truly extreme like ignore court orders, disappear dissidents to foreign nations with no due process, or deploy the military domestically against American citizens.
