I’ve always been so entranced by his solo that I never noticed that His Purpleness is kind of jerk during this set. Walks on, steals the show, throws his ax in the air and walks off. Very pimp, but maybe a bit much to OWN his song at the dudes hall of fame induction?

Not the biggest Dire Straits fan, but this performance is one of rhe best ive ever seen. Talk about a band locked in abd in full flow.

Honestly, it’s becoming a parody at this point. The problem is that in the US, people keep caving to this petulant man-baby. Forcing businesses to make decisions on your whims is not “pro business”, “conservative”, or “small government”.

First the Conference League isn’t a major trophy. I’ll die on that hill. Second, an English club wins the FA Cup and PL every year, so I’m not sure why that’s a big deal.
This is the first season in history that five English clubs have won a major trophy:
