The sombre mood remains on the streets this Monday. While ordering a coffee this morning, I asked for a cup of water and the barista asked if I wanted ICE, when I said no he replied: "Good, that's how we like it in Minnesota, no ice". That's been the response from locals and businesses since we've been here. You don't have to bring up the federal immigration officials' presence, it's on everyone's minds. We're expecting to see more of that today.
