Some frustrating quotes in this article, but this one, from this jamoke (who was already making more than the relevant amount for a family of four on his own in 2021 AND likely paid no more than $20k for four years of college in Canada, to say nothing of health care) is enraging:

BTW, found the below in yesterday’s mail. That’s *one day* of mail—though to be fair, the thin ones were in a hanger bag they were too cowardly to actually hang on our door. And it occurs to me: With the irresponsible amounts they’re spending on this, why would anyone want them near the city budget?
