Because itch.io is by far the best store out there for game developers, and also players imo, and has been given a hard time lately, I just put my game InFlux Redux on there, and upped itch's rev share to 30%. I want 'em to have a little walkin' around money impromptu-games.itch.io/influx-redux

a cool helpful thing i did a while ago is this "isolate" button in the editor, it hides everything except the selection *and* any lights affecting it *and* any essential atmospheric actors that would fuck up the view being hidden

If you're looking for retro textures I can really recommend @strideh.bsky.social's work! They offer three free packs and a premium one. They look really sharp, have a true Quake-feeling, can be used in commercial projects and were made without use of AI!

This version, 3.0, was strictly visual improvements over the last version because their coder had buggered off without giving anyone the source code, if I recall correctly

I played the shit out of this mod. Unlike most multiplayer mods, it allowed npcs, so you could play through HL1 co-op as these characters (provided you were ok to manually changelevel at the end of a map). Sven Coop maps were great in it. Kamehameha 10 alien grunts.
